Tick Tock !

I would like to share a clock craft. This is a simple clock model made with recycled materials.

For the base, I have used a recycled cardboard. I've decorated the cardboard with mesh bag strips, melon seeds and some beads made out of waste cereal boxes.

The clock dial was made with recycled magazine papers. The clock arms were cut out from a cereal box cardboard.

I have added a small flower made out of tissue paper.

Flowers....

To start with, I took a piece of cardboard and covered the entire cardboard with small pieces of news papers. Then I applied some paints on the paper with my fingers.

Then I drew some patterns on the cereal box cardboard and cut them out. When I searched for flourishes in the web, I got these kind of patterns, which I have added here on the top left. I'm not sure if these would be counted as flourishes.

Then I made some flowers with tissue papers and colored them with marker pens. Then, I used some buttons to make a flower. I added a small vine with a string.

At last, I added a quote " Every Flower is a Soul blossoming in Nature " by Gerard de Nerval.

Love Shaker Card

This is my first try on shaker cards.I have tried a shaker card with the theme Love.

I have used some waste card boards from cereal boxes to make this shaker part. The  tutorial from the INKED INSPIRATIONS blog by JODI helped me a lot in making this card. Thank you Jodi.

I was out of double sided foam tape. So, I searched for some alternatives for double-sided tape. I couldn't find one. So, i folded some paper strips and used them instead of tape.

Then I used the shaker part in my card. Hope you all like it.

Love....

A simple layout created with the theme LOVE...

I have used a cardboard as the base for this project. To begin with, I covered the entire cardboard with tissue towels. Then I used watercolors to color the entire surface. The watercolors created a nice texture. Then I allowed it to dry.

I used a cardboard from an empty cereal box to make a clock in heart shape. The border of the clock is stamped with an eraser, that is at the back of the pencil. The border of the entire layout is again stamped with the pencil. The small hearts were stamped by carving the earplug.

I made some tissue paper flowers and colored them with marker pens. I traced and cut out the word LOVE from a waste cardboard, again... this is also from a cereal box.

I found this photo of the baby holding the heart in an advertisement flyer. Thought it would me apt for this layout. I added that photo too.

At last, I added the quote by Jeremiah Feinburg

" You can't measure love with time, only with timeless moments "

Floral Wreath

A Heart shaped wreath made with paper roses and tissue paper flowers.

I used a heart shaped template  and traced it out on a cardboard. Then,  I decorated it with some roses made out of paper and some flowers made out of tissue papers.

I added a small heart in the center with the sentiment " You are my Milk Chocolate ". Then I used a ribbon to hang it.

New Home..... New Start ....

I started with a piece of cardboard and I painted the background with watercolor.

Then I dry embossed the Aluminum foil sheet. Hope the embossed home is visible.
I wrote the sentiment " New Home ..New Start " with sharpie marker.

Then I added some vines and leaves with woolen yarn. I drew a branch and bird with markers.

I added some flowers and butterflies out of papers and tissue papers. I have attached a button for the flower center. I glued some metal wires like vines and added some leaves made of aluminum foil to the vine.

Recycled Spoon Holder

I thought of recycling the Morton Salt Container that was lying around.  The spoons and the forks that were lying in my kitchen drawers came to my mind. So I thought of converting the empty cardboard container into a spoon holder.

I just removed the outer cover and I painted the cardboard with acrylic paint. Then, I drew some patterns with markers. I attached a paper strip on the top and bottom of the container, where I teared the box.

And, Here is the outcome
