Rain ! Rain ! Come Again !


A Wall Hanging that depicts the rain and cloud.

The cloud and rain drops were traced and cut out from felt sheet.

The rain drops were sewn to the woolen yarn and the yarn was sewn to the cloud.

The eye and the mouth details were added using buttons and thread.

Wall Hanging

I made this simple wall hanging with a waste cardboard. 
The cardboard was decorated with the magazine paper roll.
The Small flowers were made from waste cereal box cardboard and painted.
The butterflies were made with the sponge sheet that is used in packaging.
The flower at the bottom was made with the tissue roll. I had painted it white.

Decorated Money Box

I made this decorative box using a waste Pringles Can.

The Pringles can was covered with gift wrap.

I decorated the can with pieces of felt, flowers made of  fabric.

A Simple card with Stamping and Spray Technique

I made this simple card by using the techniques stamping and Spray Painting.


For Spraying the watercolor  I have used  an old tooth brush.

The stamping was done using vegetables.

The circle stamping in the border was done using pearl onion.

The Heart stamping in the centre was done using carrot.

The Sentiment "You & Me " was traced using DCWV ( Die Cuts With A View) Template.

The flowers were also traced using the DCWV Template.

Mixed Media Card

Simple Bookmarks





These bookmarks were made from waste cardboards.

The bookmarks were decorated with several repeating motifs or patterns.

Kolam



This kolam is called as Nelivu (Wriggle or Twist)  kolam or Sikku (Tangle) kolam. 

The starting or the ending point of the kolam cannot be identified so easily.

These  kolam  are made  by drawing lines around the dots.

A single kolam will have several patterns.
